Chimichurri

This may not be an authentic Argentinian chimichurri, but it adds incredible flavor to steak and more.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cilantro stems and leaves, packed
  • 2 cups parsley stems and leaves, packed
  • 1 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper (optional)

Instructions

  • 1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.

Notes

-Use as a marinade and topping for beef.
-Spread on a hamburger, sausage, or any sandwich you choose.
-Spread on a plain piece of bread.
-Make a chimichurri pasta salad.
