Meatballs with Zucchini Noodles

Ingredients

Sauce

  • 1 Tbsp oil for the pan
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 15 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 Tbsp dried oregano
  • 1 Tbsp dried basil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add the finely chopped onion and sauté for 3–5 minutes until soft and translucent.
  • Pour in the tomato sauce and stir to combine with the onion.
  • Add the dried oregano and basil, mixing well.
  • Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, and add the zucchini noodles during the last 5 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Plate with meatballs.
