Chocolate Milkshake

Healthy, and you won't be tempted to buy a chocolate milkshake ever again!

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe frozen bananas, chopped (about 2 cups)*
  • 5 Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1 Tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 3/4 cup milk of your choice*

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until completely smooth.

Notes

-*This recipe makes a super-sweet chocolate milkshake. The more ripe the bananas, the sweeter the milkshake. To make a less-sweet version, use less-ripe bananas and fewer dates. You may also substitute frozen cauliflower for the bananas for a lower-fructose version.
-*Cow’s milk, almond milk, soy milk, oat milk, or any other milk you choose will all work well.
-I often use whey instead of milk if I have some left over from making yogurt.
-Feel free to add plain regular or Greek yogurt as well.
