
Caprese Salad
You can’t go wrong with the vibrant flavors of this classic salad.

Ingredients
- 2 medium tomatoes, sliced
- 8 oz ball of fresh mozzarella, sliced
- 10-15 basil leaves
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- salt
Instructions
- Make a balsamic reduction by simmering the balsamic vinegar in a saucepan until it has reduced by about half, typically 10-15 minutes. Allow the vinegar to cool, as it will thicken further.
- Arrange the tomato, mozzarella, and basil on a plate, alternating between each. You may make single stacks of each or long rows.
- Drizzle the balsamic reduction over the salad.
- Sprinkle with salt.
